Our Executive Pastry Chef has won numerous awards and has competed in many national and international events bringing home silver and gold medals and was named (more than once,) “Pastry Chef of the Year” by the Texas Chefs Association.

The beautiful Chandor Garden in Weatherford hosts some of our favorite weddings and other life cycle events.  Terry’s wedding was on an early spring evening (and I still cannot believe that the next evening the skies opened with a downpour of rain.  Luckily for us our 2 events the following night were indoors).……

The cocktail reception was outdoors in the garden and our Signature Panhandle Salad, Mediterranean Pasta, a Medley of Roasted Vegetables, Chicken Picata and a Medium Rare Herb Crusted Roast Beef were served to the guests in the Main House.  Terri had designed her beautiful cake.

 

Christi’ wedding was @ the beautiful A&M Gardens in Azle.  Driving there the sky literarily opened up in a fashion that we had to pull to the side of the road as we couldn’t see anything in front of us.  Although the reception was to be in the main house, the ceremony was scheduled for 4:30 in the beautiful gardens and we were very concerned that Christi’s dream will not take place as planned.  At 4:00 o’clock the rain stopped, the chairs were wiped off and God sent his sun to sunshine on Christi!

We served our signature Seven Layer Dip and a Fajita Bar and we all had a wonderful time!

 

 

Tara & Jeff’s wedding reception was at the Fort Worth Community Art Center and the art displayed on the walls was enjoyed by all.  Tara & Jeff are both vegetarians and wanted their guests to see that you can have great food without serving beef.  For the cocktail reception everyone enjoyed the cheese and fruit table and our signature mini artichoke quiches and Southwestern Eggrolls.  In Keeping with a Texas staple menu  we’ve created for them a vegetarian fajita station and the only question the guests asked was “is it chicken or beef”…….

For their wedding cake we had a dessert sampler that included Raspberry, Chocolate and Vanilla Mousse in mini Martini glasses and French pastries to include Orange Charlotte, Toffee Tarts, Peanut Butter Mousse, Tres Leches and Cheese

 

The beautiful Chandor Garden backgrounds were the perfect setting for Wendy & Jason’s ceremony and reception.  Inspired by her father’s Italian heritage Wendy’s wedding reception menu was all about Italian style food.  For the cocktail reception we built an enormous antipasti platter together with a cheese and fruit display.  Dinner of course included a pasta station and apart from the fabulous Italian Cream cake we had Italian Wedding Cookie Trays served with coffee.  Jason’s cake was a copy of his guitar……
