Affair's To Cater Events

Mitch & Jenene came to us with a vision of a New York night club and we made it happen.

Temple Emanuel Social Hall (usually a four sided brick wall) was transformed with lights, gobos and table centerpieces into a night club. While the kids have enjoyed mini Viennese Schnitzel, Hamburger Sliders and Home Made French Fries the adults went from a Sushi Bar to Tenderloin and a Salad Station, Lamb Chops, our Signature Salmon, Asparagus in Herbal Vinaigrette and a Medley of Rosemary Garlic Roasted Potatoes.  Albert’s Bar-Mitzvah cake was accompanied by a Viennese Table that included French Pastries, Assorted Mousses and Fresh Cut Fruit Trays

Elli & Jim’s 50th Wedding Anniversary was hosted by their children and their families and was an evening in gold tones.  The Herb Crusted Beef Tenderloin with Potato Knishes satisfied the Texan palette while a sumptuous Sushi Bar was enjoyed by young and old.  Instead of a cake Elli & Jim chose to indulge the guests with an assortment of elegant French Pastries.

Lew’s 50th Surprise Birthday
It was well planned and Lew was totally surprised!  While we got him out of the house to a ball game we’ve rearranged the house and the yard.  We brought in casino tables and set the band and the photo booth by the pool.   Shrimp Ceviche in mini Martini cups; Scallion beef and Mandarin Orange in a petite dish and Skewered Sesame Chicken were passed while the guests came in and waited to surprise Lew.  Dinner included Lew’s favorite foods - our famous hand rolled Sushi and Nigiri, Beef Tenderloin and Lamb Chops…  Lew’s favorite color is blue and so we’ve created a special drink “Lecherous Blewtini” – a blue Martini with Litchi (to go with the Asian Menu) and a blue cake…….  Most of the guest wore something blue and some colored their hair blue in honor of the occasion.  We definitely “blew” everyone away

Ann & Paul’s 50th Wedding Anniversary was celebrated @ the Stonegate Mansion in Fort Worth.  Ann wanted her guests to have a “fun evening”.  The guests were taking their pictures @ the photo booth, enjoying our signature cheese table and mini artichoke quiches while listening to great music played on the piano.  Ann & Paul had welcomed their guests from near & far with great humor and the dinner reception included a Steamship and Roasted Turkey Carving Station and a Mashed Potato Bar served in Martini Glasses.  The Milk Chocolate Madness cake was decorated with the porcelain topper they had on their original cake.

Butcher, a talented Tattoo Artists was killed when someone ran into him on his way to pay his mortgage.  His family and friends wanted to celebrate his short life and on a very short notice, we were able to help them do so.  We built some tents in the park to house his artwork and provided audiovisual equipment for this unique ceremony.  There was of course plenty of food and drinks and the gathering lasted into the late night.  As many of them said “You will be remembered by many through your beautiful art on their bodies” and missed by them all.
